The Greater Balepye Nature Reserve is positioned between Tzaneen and Phalaborwa in the Limpopo Province. With the majestic Northern Drakensberg mountain range, visible on a clear day, in the distance and surrounded by wilderness, this is possibly one of South Africa's most beautiful hunting ranches to date. Just East of the Greater Balepye Nature Reserve is the Kruger National Park, which is about six hours driving from Johannesburg and not far from our hunting lodge.

African Hunting Safaris has a large rang of wild and open hunting concessions. We have managed, over the years, to source hunting areas with some of the best looking trophy animals available in South Africa to hunt.

GBNR CONSERVATION INITIATIVE

Located between Tzaneen and Phalaborwa in the Limpopo Province of South Africa, Vygeboom is a joint venture between a private business initiative and the indigenous Balepye community conducted in accordance with the government strategy of public and private cooperation and sustainable land usage.The success of this project depends on the inclusion of the local community. An intrinsic part of this venture is to see a sustainable Safari and Hunting operation and a Game Breeding project become successful for both the business enterprise and local community.
